One Great Day

On Saturday 17th June, we definitely had One Great Day of fun in the sun watching shoppers and their children take part in One Great Day. Everything from the inflatable assault course, the inflatable hungry hippo, the hook-a-duck, face painting and the coconut shy were a big success and helped us raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and Children’s Charity. We saw many young shoppers win prizes by hooking a winning duck or knocking down those hard to hit coconuts and we saw some great transformations into princesses or monsters over at the face painting station.

Thank you to everyone who came and helped us to fund raise, we will be announcing how much we raised once we have counted it all. Thank you for your generosity and if you have any pictures of your own we would love to see them. Head over to our Facebook page to share them with us and to see more of our snaps form the day. You might even see one of yourself!

The Body Shop Against Animal Cruelty

The Body Shop are #ForeverAgainstAnimalTesting and they are campaigning to ask other cosmetics and beauties companies to help end animal testing too!

The Body Shop were the first global beauty brand to fight against animal testing in cosmetics. Over the last three decades, they have worked with their campaign partner Cruelty Free International and their collective efforts helped lead to a European Union ban in 2013! But that isn’t enough for them. 80% of countries still allow animal testing. Animals continue to be used in testing, and they want to end this practice everywhere and forever.

How can you help?

Sign the petition here (it takes 1 minute) and check that you’re buying cruelty free products next time you shop, but be safe in the knowledge that The Body Shop IS Cruelty Free.
